SPIL Pro Bono Information

As a member of SPIL, in order to qualify for the summer stipend, students must accrue a substantive amount of community service and pro bono hours.

Community Service and Pro Bono are important aspects of the culture and message of The Catholic University Columbus School of Law. The commitment to community is  reflected in the law school’s curricular offerings, which provide boundless opportunities for students to master the legal skills that contribute to a more just society. The Pro Bono Program at CUA Law is on the spectrum of experiential learning opportunities available to students throughout their tenure here. Pro bono projects enable students to apply lessons learned in the classroom out in the community, advancing their professional development while benefiting those in need of services. Participation is voluntary, and the range of options available to CUA law students being sited in nation's capital is extensive.
